Ilastik: a simple, user-friendly tool for interactive image classification, segmentation and analysis. ilastik is developed by the Hamprecht lab.
MorphoGraphX: an open source application for the visualization and analysis of 4D biological datasets. It is primarily used for the analysis and quantification of 4D live-imaged confocal data, in particular:
- Organ and cell shape extraction
- Growth analysis
- Fluorescence signal quantification
- Protein localization
- Extracting simplified cell geometry for modeling
MorphoGraphX is developed in Smith lab at the MPIPZ Cologne.
