International Symposium: Plant Growth & Form

Close to 120 participants gathered in the Heidelberg old town for an exciting 3 days symposium on Plant Morphodynamics. 4th Progress Meeting in Freising

On 26th March 2019 FOR2581 Quantitative Plant Morphodynamics research unit held its 4th meeting at the Technical University of Munich. The group was delighted to have Dr. Célia Baroux as a guest, who held a talk about the contribution of ovule patterning to reproductive lineage establishment in Arabidopsis. 3rd Progress Report Meeting

On 9th October 2018 the FOR2581 Quantitative Plant Morphodynamics research unit held its 3rd meeting at the Centre for Organismal Studies at the University of Heidelberg. The PIs, PhD students, and postdocs presented the latest results of their joined projects and were able to meet and discuss their research. The next meeting is planned for spring 2019 in Munich.

iLastik & MorphographX workshop in Heidelberg

Over three days (16-18.05), members of the Research Unit learned the basics and advanced features of MorphographX and ilastik two of the workhorses used in the consortium to analyse plant organ development.
